Halloween Inspired – Candy Eyeballs on a Stick

We are just about a month away from Halloween and I bet your little ones are already asking about Halloween treats, so I thought I would show you how to make these cute Eyeballs on a Stick chocolate candies!  They are relatively simple to make and look adorable and taste sweet!

  • Pretzels (Sticks or twisted pretzels)
  • White Chocolate Melts
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Red Icing (or red sprinkles)

The first thing you are going to want to do is lay your pretzels out on a baking sheet. You’ll want to place a chocolate melt on top of the twisted pretzels and underneath the straight pretzels. You’ll then pop this sheet into an oven to broil. It literally takes less than 3 minutes for these to melt, so you gotta act quickly!

Once you pop the sheet into the oven, watch for the melts to start melting and then start placing another melt on top of the pretzel sticks to form a lollipop. Continue to let melt for a minute or so. I recommend doing these in small batches of 8, because these do melt quickly and you’ll want enough time to add the second layer of chocolate on the lollipops.

Once they are melted, take the sheet out of the oven and place an upside down chocolate chip for the pupil in the center of the white chocolate. Let cool and then use red icing or red sprinkles to make the blood lines in the eyes. Spooky, right?
