Leftover Lasagna Bread Recipe
I don’t know about you…but whenever I make a lasagna, I ALWAYS have leftovers…and unfortunately….almost everyone in my family HATES eating leftovers..including me..so I came up with a way to re-invent the leftover lasagna by baking it inside a bread…aka…Leftover Lasagna bread!
Ingredients:
- Bread Dough (Can buy pre-made or make your own)
- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Pasta Sauce
- Leftover Lasagna
- Egg White
The first thing you are going to want to do is roll out your bread dough. Once the dough is rolled out into a flat dough, you will want to take a knife and cut strips on the side of the dough
Once you have 5-6 strips on either side, take your leftover lasagna and place it in the middle of the dough.
Top the dough with cheese & pasta sauce
Then ‘braid’ the dough strips over one another covering the entire bread. Glaze the top of the bread with egg whites for a nice shiny crust.
Bake in the oven at 400 for 30 minutes.
Pretty! This was an incredibly wonderful post. Many thanks for providing this info.
