DIY Wood Slice & Chalkboard Paint Christmas Tree Ornaments

Earlier I shared the wood slice Christmas wreath that I made and now it’s time for me to share yet another craft I made with the fallen tree in my yard! These were VERY fun to make. I don’t have my Christmas tree yet, but when I do, I can see myself making several more of these ornaments.

I had my husband slice up the fallen branch into 1/2 -1″ slices. I also used chalkboard paint, a white chalkboard marker & eye hook screw.

Next, you can screw the eye hook screws right into the wood. I did this by applying downward pressure on the screwing and screwing it with my bare hands….easy peasy ;)

I then used the chalkboard paint to draw a few holiday designs on the wood slices.
